After completing a bachelor degree in International Studies at Université de Montréal, Laura went on to acquire specific technical skills such as video editing, web multiplatform development and content writing and researching  in Concordia’s Graduate Diploma in Communications.

Her work experience is as diversified as her skills and interests. She has worked as a social sciences teacher in the Ecuadorian Amazon, as a researcher for the Canadian Consulate in San Francisco. Last year, she was Affiliate Manager and Production Coordinator for Wordans.com and Sternfeld Productions respectively, two Montreal based web and video studios. She has also been involved as News Director for Concordia’s University Television (CUTV) and worked for various radio stations in Montreal (CISM, CIBL, FM 103.3, Radio Ville-Marie) doing cultural chronicles and program coordination.

Currently working as a freelancer, she is involved with various production companies in Montreal including award-winning documentary theatre company Porte Parole, documentary film distribution company reFrame Films and production company Kondolole Films. She is also producing video clips for Dream Team Videos, a collective she formed with partner Nestor Narvaez.
